West Linn is a suburb of Portland, Oregon, located approximately 12 miles south of downtown Portland. Population is approximately 19,000.  It features a variety of neighborhoods, ranging from old to new. Some areas of the city feature scenic views of the Willamette River.

West Linn is considered a "bedroom" community, since most residents work elsewhere in the Portland area. The atmosphere here is a "small-town" style, maintaining character, safety and strong family values. West Linn is noted for its low crime rate (the lowest in the Portland metro area), its fine school system, and quality of life. Housing prices are somewhat high due to the popularity of the community.
